Let’s conjure up something special! I re-created the iconic Butterbeer drink from the Harry Potter series!

Anyone who knows me well will know that I have been a long-time fan of Harry Potter and the Wizarding World universe. As a child, I practically ate the pages of each book as I dove right on in and immersed myself into this incredible world, and I was astounded by each film as they brought the story to life on screen.

For those who are also big fans or have family members who love the series, you’ll definitely want to learn how to make Butterbeer and enjoy this sweet and delicious treat while holding a movie marathon all weekend long!

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 2 Litre bottle of cream soda
  • 1/4 cup of butterscotch syrup
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tsp. of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter

What To Do:

  • In a large bowl, mix the cream soda and butterscotch syrup. Stir the mixture until it is combined well.
  • In another bowl, toss in your heavy cream, and beat with a stand, hand-held mixer, or a simple whisk.
  • Add sugar and vanilla extract to the heavy cream.
  • Melt the butter if not melted already, and add to your mixture.
  • Put the authentic finishing touch by scooping the Butterbeer into chilled glasses with a ladle, and top with whipped cream mixture.
  • Drizzle the butterscotch syrup over the whipped cream mixture as the finishing topping.
